While Serena Smith is best known for her sculptural lampwork glass beads and glass work she has recently taken a left turn into weaving, specializing in 100% cotton towels. Her hope is to bring a bit of joy to the mundane tasks of everyday life. Born and raised in Yakima, she is a crafter, artist, and teacher living in The Dalles, OR.
